the rainless is more subtly emotional, feeling more realistic & bittersweet. it definitely makes it seem more lonely.
the rain is more immediately striking (you know the intent as soon as you see it), and adds a bit of top-down perspective. it also adds some visual clutter, but in a higher resolution, that might work in its favour

both versions are amazing though, especially in the colours. absolutely love your stuff Hat >:0

I was very worried that it would be too much visual clutter, especially with the sorta motion blur thing I was trying to do with it. Might do a remastered version later down the line, but aye. I appreciate your feedback and kind words my dude !!

this is insanely beautiful, ESPECIALLY in the colours. the stars add a lot too, making an otherwise plain sky all the more pretty and interesting!
